Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway is 112 miles long winding through western South Carolina.
This is the mounatain and lake at Table Rock Park. This shot was taken from Caesar's Head State Park looking toward Table Rock and Table Rock Lake. Stop at the visitors center and venture down the overlook path. You will come to a passage in the rocks called "Devils Kitchen". As you come out of Devils Kitchen back into the open, stop and look to the left. That is where I took this shot.
Check out all the information available below at the National Scenic Byways web site:

Saturday July 14, 2007, in West Hollywood
Hi everyone! Well we are here in California, Los Angeles to be exact. Just thought I would post a quick "We are Here message". We flew in from Ohio on Thursday evening. We will be here until Monday morning then we will head up the Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) on our way to Monterey Bay.
We are staying in West Hollywood about a block from the Pacific Design Center which was featured on the recent Bravo series Top Design
.
We had a busy time in LA but did make it out a couple of times to shot some city scenes. If you drive up Mulholland Drive to near the summit in north Beverly Hills you can get some pretty good panoramic shots of the LA area. |
