International Galleries and Albums - 2007/07/05 21:07
We have had a recent development that requires us to build out the remainder of our fototrekn public galleries. We intended to do this all along but with the recent submission of shots from Egypt, Norway, and London by a new member (welcome aboard brummieboy: /cpg1410/thumbnails.php?album=lastupby&uid=106), we need to step this up.
Here is the plan: we have introduced a gallery for each continent (i.e. Africa, Anartica, Asia, Australia, Central America, Europe, North America, and South America). Some of these galleries are further organized into counties and/or regions. Within that we are creating albums where you can store your images.
Nothing would make us happier than to see images on this site from every country in the world. However, we don’t want to setup albums that are not going to be used and just add clutter.
What we have done instead is to add a “Main” album for each continent. If you want to load images for a country and cannot find a place to put it, place it into the “Main” album for the applicable continent and we will introduce further galleries as necessary.
If at anytime you are confused about where to place your images, create a public album in your user area and name it accordingly (i.e. “Ukraine”), drop us an email (admin@fototrekn.com), and we can work together to continue to build out the very best web destination for travel related digital photography.
